Best One UI Productivity Features in Galaxy S20

Whenever Samsung launches a new phone, it has something great to bring to the table. This February 2020, Samsung launched its new series of S20. And its BTS edition sold out within an hour. Galaxy S20 comes with One UI interface. The question arises whether it is better than stock Android and has Samsung improved its One UI for this set, or has it failed to impress its consumers. Here are some of the best One UI productivity features in Samsung Galaxy S20:

  1. Notification Bar

One UI has a custom notification bar, which means the user can customize the notification accordingly. One can keep as many notification icons or none at all. Unlike Android versions, they don’t provide the customization option. Instead, the notification bar is divided into two parts and needs to slide right to access them.

  • Dark Mode

The second most exciting feature is its dark mode. One UI includes the most awaited dark mode in its new S20. The dark mode gives a beautiful interface to experience its comparatively bigger screen. Once the dark mode is applied, the whole screen turns black except for some icons, which turn grey, and that gives a fantastic look to the phone. It is also very comfortable to use the dark mode at night without much stressing out the eyes.

  • Motion Smoothness

In its settings, it also provides the option of motion smoothness. The user needs to go to the settings, click on motion smoothness, enable the high refresh rate, and he/she can experience the device smoother and faster. It just brings a whole new faster experience in the interface.

It has the same old but cool feature for navigation buttons as it has in earlier sets. The navigation buttons can be disabled, and by sliding up from the right and left corner, one can perform its function. This feature makes the device appear prominent and handy.

  • Camera Application

Galaxy S20 One UI has improved its camera applications. In the app, one doesn’t need to enable video for videography. Clicking on the camera button and holding it will automatically start recording. While clicking the button and dragging it down will click the picture. It’s easy and convenient for users to use this feature.

  • Video Recording

The video recording application is interesting in this device. Users can have different options, like pro video mode, shutter speed, white balance, and etcetera. If someone has interests in videography, he/she can easily use it to capture a beautiful shot with this phone. And those who are not very familiar with these terms can also click quality videos.

  • Recycling bin

One of the features that drew my attention is now the interface comes with a recycle bin. Google photos have had this option for a long time, but having this option in One UI is one useful feature.

When one deletes a picture or video, it goes to the recycling bin and stays there for 15 days; after that, the images or video get automatically deleted. Although the recycle bin doesn’t have the album feature option but yet it’s a useful feature.
