How to Create and Configure Amazon S3 Bucket?

  1. Firstly, you have to sign in to the AWS Management Console.
  2. Thereafter, select the ‘Services’ option and input S3 into it and select the OK button.
  3. Then select the S3 to reach the Amazon S3.
  4. You should choose the ‘Create bucket’ option, which will be utilized to upload the object.
  5. Beneath the ‘Name and Region’ section, input the ‘name of the bucket,’ and select the ‘Amazon region’ then choose the Next button.
  6. The name of the bucket must be different throughout all existing names of buckets on Amazon S3.
  7. Beneath the ‘Configure options’ the bucket and choose the Next button.
  8. Underneath the ‘Set permissions’ configure permission for users of AWS that cannot have reached the Amazon S3 bucket, then choose the Next button.
  9. Beneath the ‘Review verify’ the configuration is wrong then choose the ‘Create bucket’ option.
  10. The Amazon S3 bucket is applicable.
  11. You should select the S3 bucket to upload the files.
  12. Choose the ‘Create folder’ option to make a folder, define the name of the folder, and select the Save button.
  13. You should turn on encryption. You will make a folder labeled Multimedia without encryption.

  5. You will select the ‘Standard storage class’ option, which means data will be reached regularly.
  6. Beneath the ‘Review’ option to confirm whether the configuration is right then choosing the Upload button.
  7. The file was effectively uploaded to the S3 bucket.
  8. You should choose the file to open it.
  9. Then you can see some options such as open, download or change, etc.
