For the fans of Genshin Impact, November 11 was a big day because it’s the day when the game launched its four new characters. Genshin Impact is the most anticipated game, and update 1.1 made the game more entertaining. There are already plenty of characters available, but these four new characters offer a great new playing experience.
Among four new characters, two are four-star characters and two five star characters. They all have different skills and elemental abilities. In terms of weapon choice, two of them are bow users, one sword user, and one fighter that uses a polearm. All these characters possess different Elemental Skills, and their category is Hydro, Pyro, Cryo, and Geo.
Tartagalia Childe – 5 Star
Players who have been playing Genshin Impact for a long time are quite familiar with Snezhnayan Tartaglia, also known as Chide. He is the first newly launched character that possesses a Hydro element and a bow. His charge and normal attacks create decent combos, and he can utilize it with its bow. His main strength is Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst, which grants him the switch between the range attacks and melee attacks.
Zhongli – 5 Star
The second five-star character is Zhongli that arrived after update 1.1. He possesses a Geo element and uses polearm. Like Childe, many of the players are familiar with this character, but not enough information about this character has been revealed. But he has excellent capabilities and extraordinary skills that he can use during the battle.
Diona – 4 Star
Diona is among the four new characters. Most of the fans of Genshin Impact have started to explore this character because of her skills. She’s a Cryo element character that wields a bow. Her cat and mixologist heritage theme is making her a more interesting character. Her abilities can heal her and her teammates, leading her to the Support role.
Xinyan – 4 Star
The fourth character among all four characters is Xinyan. She’s a Pyro element user that uses claymore weapons. Xinyan is pretty similar to Diluc because of her Pyro/Claymore combination. Her abilities are musically themed abilities that might appear with a four-stringed guitar.

Usually, the 5-star characters unlock through Wishes, so things with two 5 star characters could be the same. However, to unlock the other two 4 star characters, players can rely on wishes and challenges.
