Introducing Echo Show 15, Full Hd 15.6" Smart Display For Family Organization With Alexa

It also means that the display can be updated to display your personal widgets such as reminders, calendars and notes. With Sticky Notes widget you can leave a note for each family member to take the dog for a walk or remind them to eat dinner with the dog. This is particularly useful for multi-person households, as one can, for example, show sticky notes intended for certain family members.

Widgets include useful applications such as a family calendar, shared shopping lists, sticky notes and reminders. The customizable home screen serves as a control panel for Alexa Home ecosystem which includes smart home controls such as feeds from surveillance cameras and digital doorbells around the house, all in a single widget. This is a useful place for widgets that can be customized according to your preferences, whether you want to view calendar lists, recipe recommendations or a popular smart home control.

There is also a gallery of customizable widgets that you can drag and drop to the main screen. According to Amazon, Alexa widgets are also available on other Echo Show, but you'll have to swipe up on the screen to see them. Options include smart home widgets, your most used devices, sticky notes and a calendar.

You can configure the redesigned home screen, and part of that is the usual rotating array of ambient content such as headlines and weather updates from the Echo Show, the familiar part of the screen, while the rest can be custom tailored with various Alexa widgets. This is the largest smart display Amazon has ever released, with a larger 15.6-inch screen and support for streaming 1080p video. The new smart display also includes widgets that act as televisions in the kitchen and support several services, including Sling TV, which is coming soon.

Like other Amazon Echo products in the product line of Amazon s Echo, the Amazon Echo Show is built around Amazon s Alexa virtual assistant and features a 7-inch display that displays visual information, accompanies reactions, plays videos and makes video calls with other Echo Show users. The new Echo Show 1.5, worth $249.99, has a different design from its predecessors : it is flat and can be hung on a wall instead of a touchscreen to a bulky speaker. Smart displays are able to do all the things the smart display Echo Show can do, such as play music, view weather reports, stream videos, control smart home gadgets and other things you can tell Alexa to do.

Equipped with an 8-inch display and a 1.9-inch touch-compatible projection area to interact with the user in a virtual space. In addition to the Echo Show 15, Amazon also revealed the Amazon Glow, a new device for children that enables them to make video calls and interact with their loved ones across a projected room. The Amazon Glow has an 8-inch display that helps children read e-books and communicate with their parents and family through video calls.

With a redesigned home screen and Alexa widgets, you can customize the Echo Show 15 to view your shared family calendar, manage tasks and reminders, find meals inspired and track your incoming packages. The new Echo Show 1.5 with its new smart display, which is intended to be not only the control centre but also the rest of the Alexa devices, is based on a 15.6 inch display with Full HD resolution that can be mounted on a wall or a tripod if available. Its home screen integrates with company widgets so we can see our family calendar and our tasks and shopping lists.

With a 15.6-inch, 1080p touchscreen, the Echo Show 15 is a smart display that is best suited for the kitchen, with new widgets for photo lists, calendar lists, music, weather, videos and smart home feeds. While earlier models like the Echo Show 1.0 followed users as they moved around the room, this year Amazon took a different approach, instead of a fixed frame on the wall or mounted on a wall for portrait or landscape views. The Show 15 design is intended to mimic a photo frame so you can use it as a full-screen photo viewer if you want. Amazon says that it will adjust its colors to ambient lighting much like other newer Echo Show devices.

The newest and largest addition to Echo Show family brings Amazon's smart screen technology to the wall in the form of a 15.6-inch 1080p display that doubles as a huge digital photo frame. Show 15 is a novel approach to the growing line, which also includes Echo Show 5, Echo Show 8 and Echo Show 10 (all $250) and raises eyebrows with a rotating screen that follows its theme through the room. There is also an optional visual ID option that allows Alexa to recognize you and your family members using facial recognition, giving you a more personal experience every time you access the device.

The device also has a new Visual ID feature that enables Alexa to recognise individual household members and view their personal events, reminders and other updates. All of these functions can be controlled by voice, and Alexa can also be controlled with a tap on the touchscreen. The Amazon AZ2 Neural Edge processor, which powers many devices with built-in machine learning and image processing capabilities, enables the visual ID feature above and allows you to teach Alexa your personal preferences.

The new smart display called Amazon Echo Show 15 builds on Amazon AZ2 Neural Edge processor next-generation with a redesigned home screen, more customization options, new personalization features such as Visual ID and a new Alexa experience. Once you sign up for the new Visual ID feature, Alexa recognizes you when you walk in front of the Echo Show, and the screen will automatically refresh to show you custom greetings, your personal reminders and calendar dates, play music and take personal notes from others in your home. The Echo Show combines your decor by showing full-screen images from Amazon Photos and alternative visuals from pre-installed art, nature, seasonal and travel galleries.

With a 15.6-inch Full HD display with 1080p resolution, its newest smart display, the Amazon Echo Show 15, can be mounted on a wall or placed in portrait or landscape format on a counter. In addition, Echo Show 1.5 offers barrier-free features that customers benefit from, including the ability to interact with Alexa via touch and voice, see subtitles and Alexa answers on the device's screen, and much more.
