Rukia Kuchiki's first major role as a hero, as "Ichigo Kurosaki" in the Soul Reaper world, is introduced, but that's not all. She is also the foster sister of Squad 6 captain Byakuya Kuchiki and her growing relationship with him has had a huge impact on Bleached's story in the Soul Society arc.
It was long overdue because Rukia had lost her other brother, Kaien the Shiba. It took the arrival of hero Kurosaki to take their developing relationship with him to the next level, to the point where Squad 6 Captain Byakuya Kuchiki became the right foster brother Rukia was looking for. Rukia knew that Byakuya and Hero were born together, but most of the time their relationship was cold and distant.
Rukiah's original family was her older sister Hisana, but she left Rukiah and fled when she married into the Kuchiki family. Byhaaru took Rukia into his household with a younger sister who looked identical to his late wife.
Byakuya Kuchiki, the captain of the 6th Division, is very cold towards his adopted sister Rukia (Kuchiki). They never had a close relationship and she looked for a brother in her lieutenant Kaien Shiba. Rukia never felt close to Byakuya, who was fixated on decency and tradition, so she turned to Kaien.
The emotional conflict between his two promised loved ones left Byakuya confused and disoriented, and he took part in Rukia's execution. In the Soul Society arc of Bleach Anime, Byakuya went to see his sister for execution. He did everything to prevent Ichigo Kurosaki and Renji Abarai from saving Rukia.
Rukia used her Gokon Tekko to expel Ichigo's soul, and he managed to cut off part of the mask, which turned out to be Orihim's brother Sora Inoue. After the hollow attack on the young Plus, Rukia persuaded Byakuya to do his duty. It prompted him to undergo rudimentary training to improve his combat tactics.
She threatens to kill Ichigo if he reveals her true identity. After revealing that she had saved herself from Kido, Rukia tells the lucid Sora to carry on as he has treated her. Sora decides to purify herself with Ichigos Zanpakuto, and Rukia declares that his sins will be washed away by the sword.
After Ichigo declares that his wounds have healed, Rukia tells him that she excelled in the Kido Academy, changes the subject and asks him to open the juice box. Mizuiro Kojima interrupts her and notes that she is still with him, and he says that she will be with him when he comes home. When he tries to raise the issue with Rukia over the next few days, she creeps away before he can say anything.
Ichigo and Rukia prove to be each other's most important person (tm), and they reunite with their friends, even though Inoue was indifferent at the time. The FB-bow gives us an answer to what has happened to them and keeps time running as if the bond had never been broken. When they were forced together in 684, they changed.
But let's not dwell on how well and how well Ichigo and Rukia are interwoven with destiny, because at no point in the manga is it shown that Rukia has tender thoughts for Renji, nor does it show that she prioritizes him in her heart (which I will post about one day). If it decides on Renji, the RR bond will outperform the IR bond, but it doesn't have to.
